Fresh off their world premiere this spring in Los Angeles, the cast of Spies Are Forever is coming to Chicago to give you a taste of their Cold War spy comedy! With scenes and songs from the original musical by the Tin Can Brothers and TalkFine, you’ll be thrown head first back into the adventures of Agent Curt Mega in this staged concert!
In the full-length new musical SPIES ARE FOREVER, Agent Curt Mega finds himself thrust into the shadows of Cold War politics as he works to foil a plot to rebuild the Nazi empire. Along the way, Agent Mega must tango with a Russian femme fatale, waltz around a black market arms dealer, and samba through a horde of outrageous characters. With a license to kill and the voice of an angel, Mega must stay alive, complete the mission, and prove to his enemies that the deadliest weapon of all is a little song and dance.
Join internet sketch sensation, the Tin Can Brothers, for an evening of drama as they explore themes including (but not limited to): assassination, free will, class structure, firearms, the merits of William Shakespeare, and the tangible/intangible legacy one leaves after death, all with an absurdist twist.
Are you a supporter of modern dance? Do you appreciate the comedy in three grown men baring their souls onstage for three nights? Do you have two eyes, a mouth, and hearing in at least one ear? Then, statistically, you should laugh at LEAST 3-5 times during this show.
World famous sketch comedy trio, the Tin Can Brothers, are back and at 'em! This is their first show since their disastrous debut at the 1933 Chicago World's Fair, and boy are they nervous! So comb your hair, wax your mustache, put on your laughing ears, and come on down to see the freaks! Tin Can Brothers: Alive! On Stage!
